A women-only cycling event is returning to Bedfordshire with three races open to beginners and more committed riders.
The 2015 Macmillan Cycletta will be hosted at Woburn Abbey for the fourth time, kicking off a series of events being held throughout the summer.
The day will include a 20km ‘novice’ distance, as well as 40km and 70km routes.
There will also be an eight-kilometer traffic-free route for children.
The rides wind through the picturesque Bedfordshire countryside on smooth, signed and safe roads with aid stations and marshall support,
Meanwhile supporters can enjoy an assortment of family-friendly activities at Woburn Abbey.
Macmillan Cycletta is organised by Human Race. Its spokeswoman Gillian Daly said: “The Macmillan Cycletta has already firmly established itself as the UK’s leading series of women-only cycling events.
“What we’re now doing is reflecting a growing demand from women for a greater range of distances to ensure there’s one that’s right for them.”
She added: “We’re really excited to be opening the series at Woburn Abbey, and look forward to welcoming everyone there in June’.
Following the Bedfordshire launch, further events will be held across the country.
Sign up before January 31 to receive £5 off the full price. Groups will be able to get five entries for the price of four.
