The operation will also be partnered with Hertfordshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police to tackle road crimes including drink-driving and driving with no insurance.
The team has received additional training in identifying and proactively tackling rural issues with nominated officers who leads in specific areas.
The team will also use drone technology, which can also be used to assist in the search for missing people, document crime scenes, chemical incidents and support fatal and serious collision investigations.
