Bedfordshire Freemasons donate £65k to charity

Freemasons from across Bedfordshire gathered in Kempston last Friday night to donate £64,639 to 46 charities and good causes.

The Provincial Grand Master of Bedfordshire, Anthony Henderson said:“At the heart of Freemasonry is relief, which means supporting charities and good causes, both financially and physically.

“We started these cheque presentation evenings to charities some nine years ago, and Bedfordshire Freemasons have given over £664,500 to national and local good causes.”
“In 2017 freemasonry celebrates its 300th birthday and we hope to celebrate.”
