Tracy Nichols at NatWest in Bedford, said: “Our colleague, Martin, was a big supporter of the hospice and he inspired us all to get involved.

“It’s great to be part of something so wonderful and we have had lots of fun along the way. We hope the money will make a difference and help others to access the great care that Martin and his wife received.”

Andrea Chupacova, senior fundraiser for St John’s said: “The partnership is a great example of businesses working together. It has helped us build a fantastic relationship with the staff at the Bedford branch. The money will help us provide more than 400 hours of care.”
