Westfield School’s annual ‘Bake Off’ had all the right ingredients for a tasty event.
The theme for this year was seasonal and the school’s chosen charity was the WWF. The bakes reflected this with black and white panda and Christmas tree cakes. The competition was organised and judged by the school council, who also filmed the event to show to the school in assembly.
Headteacher Karen Watts said: “This is always an amazing event but the standards get higher each year. There were some amazing ‘showstoppers’ and the children worked really hard to produce them in just over an hour, a great achievement.” The cakes were sold to raise money for the WWF.
