The Welcome to Sharnbrook Group celebrated their 25th anniversary with a celebration cake and photographs after their bi-annual meeting on Monday, October 5. The special guest of the evening was Ann Collis who, along with the late Marilyn Keeling, were the founder members of the group.
They started the group in 1990 to welcome new residents to Sharnbrook and today the group consists of three co-ordinators, Pam Bishop, Susie Hale and Amanda McLaren and 24 visitors. All live in the village and give their time voluntarily to deliver packs of local information and leaflets plus their name and a contact number to each new resident that moves into the village. All leaflets are supplied voluntarily by the local groups.
