Young Farmers start arriving at the rally site from 7am on the day, with livestock, handicrafts, cookery and flowers ready for a fun-filled, action-packed day.

Competitions take place all day, culminating in in the afternoon in the main ring with a hard-fought tug-of-war, grand parade of winning stock, parade of hounds and, at the end, the long-awaited and highly contested decorated floats competition and the flour and water fight.

The day offers something for everyone, with numerous trade stands, craft stalls, a children’s entertainment area, vintage tractors, show jumping and main ring attractions.
