'I've won!' Stunned Paul scoops our fabulous fishing holiday for four people

Lapsed angler Paul Cole nearly fell off his perch when he heard he had won our fabulous fishing holiday.

Stunned Paul, a 56-year-old software technical manager, exclaimed: “Really? I have never won anything in my life.”

The married father-of-two is now planning a date with three pals to take up his prize at the Acorn Holiday Park in the Fens.

Paul hasn’t fished for years, but had been meaning to take it up again.

Although he lives in Covid-struck Bolton, he stumbled across our multi-website competition via a Google search.

His name was picked from almost 1,000 correct entries by a random number generator.

A spokesman said: “We would like to congratulate Paul on winning a week’s fishing holiday for up to four people and look forward to welcoming him to our park.
