Aldi in Bedford reopens with fresh new look

Aldi in Westville Road will reopen on Thursday (November 12) with a fresh new look.

There'll be a more customer-focused layout with wider aisles.

The transformation is part of Aldi’s £300million investment into improving its stores and services across the UK, and is based on feedback from more than 50,000 customers.

The store employs 29 people, and the refurbishment will create an additional five job opportunities.

The store has a number of safety measures in place, including sanitation stations, Perspex screens at its tills and social distancing reminders in store, as well as a traffic light system in place to control the number of people going in and out of the store.

Aldi store manager, David Crooke, said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves. We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and services they’re used to."

The store will be open 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
