13 Greensand Country Festival events for you to enjoy in May
The month of May sees the Greensand Country Festival taking place across the landscape from Leighton Buzzard to Gamlingay.

The festival is a celebration of the beautiful Greensand Country, and aims to get people living in the area out and about to explore the countryside on their doorstep.
The festival includes a diverse programme of events and activities, with something for all the family.
Seasonal highlights and a tour of the Swiss Garden with its Head Gardener, who will share the garden’s story and explain how it is cared for today. Enjoy lunch afterwards with a chance to chat to senior members of the garden team who can answer all your questions. This event is on May 21.
Experience The Swiss Garden in the early evening and spend some time roaming the garden or enjoying your picnic before settling down to a live music performance at this event on May 22.
This is a wonderful opportunity to find out what creatures make their home at Flitwick Moor Nature Reserve. Come along and explore the site on May 29 - equipment will be provided and families are especially welcome.
Starting at Clophill Eco Lodges take a gentle walk around the local area with a local expert in both horticulture and herbalism. The walk on May 29 will focus on identifying plants used for medicinal purposes both past and present – some of them may surprise you!
