The festival is a celebration of the beautiful Greensand Country, and aims to get people living in the area out and about to explore the countryside on their doorstep.
The festival includes a diverse programme of events and activities, with something for all the family.
Take a look at just some of the events you could enjoy.
1. Cooper’s Hill self guided trail
Virtually join Wildlife and Community Officer Sarah Cowling for a self-guided wild trail around Cooper’s Hill Nature Reserve. Download the interactive map and explore the reserve with your family whenever it suits you.
2. Shuttleworth Season Premier drive-in display
May 2 sees the return of the award-winning Drive-In Displays from the Shuttleworth Trust. The perfect family day out, expect thrilling air displays from historic aircraft and explore the beautiful Shuttleworth Swiss Garden. There is something to keep the whole family entertained!
3. Walk the Vale
The Bedford to Bletchley Rail Users Association will be hosting four walks covering the Marston Vale countryside between Bedford and Bletchley over the Festival period. These take place on May 4, 11, 18 and 25.
4. Yoga at the Swiss Garden
A chance to get back to nature with a slow, flowing yoga practice suitable for all ages and abilities. No equipment is provided so you’ll need to bring your own. These outdoor sessions take place May 10, 17, and 24.
