Upmarket agency gets to the haart of the capital

The largest independent estate agency in the UK has launched a new upmarket sister agency in response to the growing demand for a niche estate agent to meet the needs of discerning buyers at the top end of the property market.

Haart’s research shows that the number of properties sold in England and Wales in January with price tags of £600,000 and above increased by 12 per cent, while £1 million plus homes saw a surge of 28 per cent compared to the same period last year.

And that bumper business is despite a five per cent decline in the overall number of properties sold.

The new Chewton Rose brand aims to offer customers a superior bespoke service selling quintessentially British quality and character properties.

The new agency will replace the existing Fine brand with all Fine offices adopting Chewton Rose livery.

Chewton Rose will have its HQ in London’s Mayfair and there will also be branches in prestige Home Counties locations.

Senior partner Paul Smith said:“Our group is about breaking the mould, driving innovation, competition and outstanding customer service in estate agency.

“Chewton Rose will deliver exceptional results for home sellers across Britain where there has been no real alternative or challenger to the old guard for many decades.””
