Bellway is building a total of 200 homes at Berry Wood, including 42 affordable properties for rent or shared ownership. A mix of three, four and five-bedroom houses are still available to buy.

Luke Southgate, sales director for Bellway Northern Home Counties, said: “Construction work is progressing ahead of schedule at Berry Wood, with the last homes due to be completed before the end of this year. There has been an increasing amount of interest in recent weeks, as buyers look to secure one of the final properties still available.

“There is already a strong sense of community among the residents at Berry Wood. One homeowner has commented that he felt more included in this community than anywhere he had lived previously, and that can only add to the development’s appeal.

“The village location has clearly been a major draw for buyers, particularly families. Berry Wood sits on the edge of open countryside with schools, shops, parks and pubs nearby."

Prices at Berry Wood currently start at £335,000 for The Wendover, a three-bedroom, semi-detached home.
