Global favourites to get Bedford laughing at comedy night

Castle Comedy brings a mixed bill of comic talent to the Gordon Arms in Bedford on Thursday November 10.

Headlining the show is Gordon Southern, described as the “international word clown”. His upbeat and energetic delivery combined with his observational comedy and improvisation has secured his place as an audience favourite all over the world.

Gordon spends several months every year performing in Australia at its major comedy festivals, which has led to award nominations and television performances. This year he appeared on the hugely popular Stand and Deliver on ABC2 Australia.

Also on the bill is young talent Brennan Reece . This year he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival and received a nomination for Best Show at the Perth Fringe World festival. He has only been doing stand up for a few years has already been named English Comedian Of The Year 2015 and come second in the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015 .

The show will also feature award winning comedian Paul F Taylor. Paul is developing a cult following thanks to his surreal ‘knockabout’ style, which is reminiscent of Harry Hill.

The show will be hosted by Bedford favourite, Paul Revill.
