The Foresters Arms is celebrating after picking up two accolades at Wells & Co’s annual Pub Partner Awards for its achievements throughout the last year.

The Union Street pub fought off tough competition from the business’ pub partners to take home two awards, including best newcomer and the rising star award.

Having reopened in late 2018, the team was praised for its efforts supporting local sports and interest groups - including its pub classics menu and a monthly quiz.

Also, Dianne Hawreliak Cuillierrier - commonly referred to as ‘pub mum’ - also took home the rising star award.

She said: “I’m lost for words. I go to work and I do my job to the best of my ability; for my peers to nominate me for this award is just staggering. I’m truly humbled.”
