Lip-lickingly tasty fun at MK Feast...

Feeling peckish?

MK Feast will sort you out, although you’ll have to wait until Saturday to indulge your tastebuds.

Promising to ‘showcase local food and artisan talent’, the event – being hosted at Bradwell Abbey – will bring together an array of food vendors, market stalls and entertainment.

Milton Keynes is a very difficult place to produce and sell your own food and we are very proud to give good local makers the platform they deserve,” said organiser Franzi Florack.

“They will be joined by community groups and artists so it’s going to be a very colourful and exciting day.”

MK Feast has been organised because of a ‘lack of city-centre opportunities for independent traders,’ say those behind the day, and among the tasty temptations you’ll find cakes, bread, jam, sauces, chutneys, loose tea, beer, cider and a whole range of street food.

We have it on good authority that a decent selection of vegetarian grub will also be on the menu, for the ever-growing army of meat free folks.

Hurrah for that.

Pop in and indulge between 11am and 4pm.
