Bedford mayor announces his Christmas card competition winner

Bedford mayor Dave Hodgson has today (December 1) announced the winner of his Christmas card competition.

The winning design was from Priya from Camestone School. Priya’s design with candles and baubles also included the ‘stay safe’ message.

The runners-up were Avery from Hazledene School with a Christmas tree design and Iman from Brickhill Primary School with a reindeer design.

More than 200 entries were sent in.

Mayor Dave said: “Congratulations to Priya, Avery and Iman. I was impressed with all the entries and thank everyone who sent me their designs.”

A selection of the designs are displayed in the Harpur Centre.
