Best Community Garden 2012
The Golden Gardens plot encompasses the work of a group of volunteers led by Mr Jim Robinson who grow a whole variety of vegetables from tomatoes to spring onions.
Education is key too and the team also help other community groups including children from the nearby St Mary’s Church pre school, showing them how to plant seeds and grow their own produce.
