Bedford talent and Bard tale take to the Quarry stage
Poll Function, which takes to the stage on Saturday February 20, tells the story of two men from the West Country who return to suburbia and wreak havoc on childhood dreams and a system they believed would bring them future opportunity.
Confined within a car for most of the journey, old secrets are aired and questions asked about who they have become since leaving the suburbs. They fight, spit, cry and kill but still find it hard to accept their feelings are only human. The plays, written by Greg Shewring, has been described by Broadway Baby as “dirty and hilarious, and punctuated with moments of real poetic beauty”.
