Lidl in urgent food recall after sulphur dioxide found in juice, Bedford shoppers told

In a statement from the Food Standards Agency, it said Lidl was recalling the juice "because it contains sulphites which are not mentioned on the label".
It said: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites."

Hide AdAlthough sulphur dioxide is widely used in the food and drinks industries, it can induce asthma when inhaled or ingested, even in high dilution.
The recall affects the 750ml bottle with a best before date of July 12, this year.
The statement added: "If you have bought the product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not drink it. If customers are making an essential trip to a Lidl store, they can return the item in-store. Alternatively, customers can email [email protected] with a photo of the affected item and the best before date to claim a refund."
No other Naturis products are affected by the recall.
