WEEKEND UPDATE: Bedfordshire records more than 110 cases
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Over the weekend, Bedfordshire recorded 114 new cases, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Out of that figure, Bedford has 14 new cases, with a total of 13,340 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus; Central Bedfordshire has 32 cases, with a total of 15,697, and Luton has 68 cases, with a new total of 19,906.

Hide AdThere were no deaths in Bedford (484), three deaths in Luton (495) and none deaths in Central Bedfordshire (567).


Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 31,011 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 75,862 and Milton Keynes has 19,776 cases.
In the UK, as of Sunday March 29, 30,151,287 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for Covid, and 3,527,481 had received their second dose.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 4,333,042. The number of deaths is 126,592.
