Today (May 11), Bedford recorded three new cases with a total of 504 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus.

In Central Bedfordshire, there are four new cases with a total of 553, while Luton has recorded no new cases and has a total of 666.

As of today, Buckinghamshire has a total of 890 cases, Hertfordshire has 2,603 and Milton Keynes has 497.

Yesterday (May 10), Boris Johnson said people could return to work if they can't do so from home - but they should try to avoid public transport for social distancing reasons.

He also said there would now be no limit to the amount of exercise allowed.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 223,060. The number of deaths has been recorded as 32,065.
