As of today (November 20), Bedford has 42 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 3,013 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In Central Bedfordshire, there were 29 new cases of Covid, with a total of 3,237 while Luton has 62, with a new total of 4,943.

The number of deaths in Bedford has risen by three (192), by two in Central Bedfordshire (249), with the number revised down by one in Luton (208).

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 6,477 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 15,369 and Milton Keynes has 3,179 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 20,252 and now stands at 1,473,508. The number of deaths has risen by 511 to 54,286.
