UPDATE: Small rise in cases in Bedford in 24 hours

As of today (November 24), Bedford has 17 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 3,131 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were no deaths in Bedford (194), no deaths in Luton (210) and one death in Central Bedfordshire (251).

Central Bedfordshire has 36 new Covid cases with a total of 3,383, while Luton recorded 45 with a new total of 5,337.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 6,844 cases, Hertfordshire has 16,334 and Milton Keynes has 3,447 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 11,299 and now stands at 1,538,794. The number of deaths has risen by 608 to 55,838.
