UPDATE: No new coronavirus deaths and no new cases in Bedford

Today (June 3) there have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bedford, the total for the borough is 652, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded at Bedford Hospital Trust in the past 24 hours, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 174 people had died in hospital at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust as of 5pm on Tuesday, June 2.

In Luton, there is one new case with a total of 772. In Central Bedfordshire, there is one new case, with a total of 651.

In Buckinghamshire, the total is 1,010, Milton Keynes has 510 cases and Hertfordshire has 2,903 cases in total.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 279,856. The number of deaths has been recorded as 39,728.

Last week's figure were unusually low due to the Bank Holiday.
