UPDATE: Coronavirus cases revised down in Bedford

Today (June 10), the number of cases of coronavirus in Bedford has been revised down by one to 703.

Public Health England figures show that 703 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am this morning in Bedford, down from 704 the same time on Tuesday.

There have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded at Bedford Hospital Trust in the past 24 hours, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 190 people had died in hospital at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust as of 5pm on Tuesday, June 9.

In Luton, there are two new cases, the total is now 800. In Central Bedfordshire, there are three new cases, the total number of cases is now 684.

In Buckinghamshire, the total is 1,028, Milton Keynes has 512 cases and Hertfordshire has 2,934 cases in total.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 290,143. The number of deaths has been recorded as 41,128.
