UPDATE: Coronavirus cases revised down in Bedford

Today (June 15), the number of cases of coronavirus in Bedford has been revised down by two to 726.

There have been no new deaths from coronavirus recorded at Bedford Hospital Trust over the weekend, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 192 people had died in hospital at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust as of 5pm on Sunday (June 14) – the same number as on Friday.

In Luton, there are no new cases, the total is 806. In Central Bedfordshire, there are no new cases, the total number of cases is 703.

In Buckinghamshire, the total is 1,043, Milton Keynes has 513 cases and Hertfordshire has 2,954 cases in total.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 296,857. The number of deaths has been recorded as 41,736.
