As of today (February 12), Bedford has recorded 76 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 12,517 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
There were eight deaths in Central Bedfordshire (528), three deaths in Bedford (443) and three deaths in Luton (455).

Hide AdCentral Bedfordshire has 78 new Covid cases with a total of 14,532, while Luton recorded 113 with a new total of 17,933.
Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 28,897 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 71,986 and Milton Keynes has 18,354 cases.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 15,144 and now stands at 4,013,799. The number of deaths has risen by 758 to 116,287.

Hide AdAs of February 11, in the UK, 14,012,224 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 530,094 had received their second dose.
