UPDATE: Bedford records over 30 new cases of coronavirus today
Bedford has been placed in Tier 2 in the government's three tier system
As of today (November 26), Bedford has 38 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 3,205 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Central Bedfordshire has 40 new Covid cases with a total of 3,452, while Luton recorded 72 with a new total of 5,499.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 7,105 cases, Hertfordshire has 16,779 and Milton Keynes has 3,559 cases.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.
The number of deaths has risen by 498 to 57,031.
The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
