As of today (February 15), Bedford has recorded 26 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 12,600 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were two deaths in Central Bedfordshire (532), three deaths in Bedford (454) and the number of deaths in Luton was revised down by one (458).

Central Bedfordshire has 38 new Covid cases with a total of 14,639, while Luton recorded 70 with a new total of 18,108.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 29,119 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 72,474 and Milton Keynes has 18,494 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.

In the UK, as of today, 15,300,151 people have received the first dose of the vaccination for Covid, and 539,630 have received their second dose. ​

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 10,972 and now stands at 4,047,843. The number of deaths has risen by 230 to 117,396.
