As of today (February 10), Bedford has recorded 56 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 12,378 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
There were five deaths in Central Bedfordshire (518), four deaths in Bedford (436) and 10 deaths in Luton (449).

Hide AdCentral Bedfordshire has 74 new Covid cases with a total of 14,414, while Luton recorded 67 with a new total of 17,752.
Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 28,677 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 71,499 and Milton Keynes has 18,236 cases.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
In the UK, as of today, 13,058,298 people have received the first dose of the vaccination for Covid, and 519,553 have received their second dose.

Hide AdNationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 13,013 and now stands at 3,985,161. The number of deaths has risen by 1,001 to 114,851.
