As of today (November 23), Bedford has 39 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 3,114 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were no deaths in the county - with Bedford's total 194, Central Bedfordshire's 250 and Luton's 210.

Central Bedfordshire has 28 new Covid cases with a total of 3,347, while Luton recorded 96 with a new total of 5,292.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 6,796 cases, Hertfordshire has 16,178 and Milton Keynes has 3,412 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 15,450 and now stands at 1,527,495. The number of deaths has risen by 206 to 55,230.
