UPDATE: Bedford records a fall in Covid cases in last 24 hours

As of today (February 26), Bedford has recorded 28 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 12,981people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
There were three deaths in Central Bedfordshire (555), one death in Luton (477) and one death in Bedford (471).

Hide AdCentral Bedfordshire has 27 new Covid cases with a total of 15,070, while Luton recorded 51 with a new total of 18,802.
Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 30,005 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 73,891 and Milton Keynes has 19,051 cases.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 8,523 and now stands at 4,163,085. The number of deaths has risen by 345 to 122,415.

Hide AdAs of February 25, in the UK, 19,177,555 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 736,037 had received their second dose.
