As of today (January 18), Bedford has recorded 167 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 10,161 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Central Bedfordshire also has 167 new Covid cases with a total of 12,037, while Luton recorded 232 with a new total of 14,643.
There were no deaths recorded in Bedford (315), three deaths in Luton (337) and one death in Central Bedfordshire (395).

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 23,999 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 60,642 and Milton Keynes has 15,661 cases.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 37,535 and now stands at 3,433,494. The number of deaths has risen by 599 to 89,860.
In the UK, as of January 17, 4,062,501 people in the UK had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 452,301 had received their second dose.
The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
