UPDATE: Bedford has two new cases of coronavirus

Today (June 12), Bedford has recorded two new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the total to 716.

There has been one new coronavirus death recorded at Bedford Hospital Trust in the past 24 hours, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 192 people had died in hospital at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust as of 5pm on Thursday, June 11.

In Luton, there are two new cases, the total is now 805. In Central Bedfordshire, there are four new cases, the total number of cases is now 697.

In Buckinghamshire, the total is 1,031, Milton Keynes has 513 cases and Hertfordshire has 2,940 cases in total.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 292,950. The number of deaths has been recorded as 41,481.
