UPDATE: Bedford has no new cases of coronavirus

As of today (24 August) Bedford has recorded no new cases of coronavirus, the total for the borough is still 1,413, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Central Bedfordshire has six new cases, the total is now 1,338, and Luton has six more cases, the total for the town is now 1,710.

Hide AdMeanwhile, Buckinghamshire has 1,867 cases, Hertfordshire has 4,579 and Milton Keynes has 951 cases.
Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).
It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 326,614 and the number of deaths is 41,433.
