UPDATE: Bedford has 11 new cases of coronavirus

Today (June 11), Bedford has recorded 11 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the total to 714.

There has been one new coronavirus death recorded at Bedford Hospital Trust in the past 24 hours, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 191 people had died in hospital at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust as of 5pm on Wednesday, June 10.

In Luton, there are three new cases, the total is now 803. In Central Bedfordshire, there are nine new cases, the total number of cases is now 693.

In Buckinghamshire, the total is 1,030, Milton Keynes has 512 cases and Hertfordshire has 2,939 cases in total.

The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 291,409. The number of deaths has been recorded as 41,279.
