UPDATE: 31 new coronavirus cases in Bedford in 24 hours

Today (May 13), Bedford has recorded 31 new cases with a total of 531 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus.
In Central Bedfordshire, there are 12 new cases with a total of 565, while Luton has recorded no new cases and has a total of 666.

Hide AdBuckinghamshire has a total of 898 cases, Hertfordshire has 2,660 and Milton Keynes has 500.
On Sunday (May 10), Boris Johnson said people should return to work if they can't do so from home - but they should try to avoid public transport for social distancing reasons. Some shops are also beginning to open with social distancing measures in place.
The Prime Minister also said there would now be no limit to the amount of exercise allowed.
The new figures are now recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 229,705. The number of deaths has been recorded as 33,186.
