Seven pharmacies in Bedford will now offer Covid jab as vaccination programme accelerates

Seven pharmacies in Bedford will be the first of 29 pharmacies in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes to offer Covid vaccinations.

Anyone wanting to book a jab can access the National Booking System. You'll even be able to book both vaccines at the same time - for those who cannot go online, call 119. The phone line is available from 7am until 11pm each day.

The news comes after Bedford Today revealed yesterday that no deaths were recorded in the UK for the first time since the pandemic began - and after Bedford Today, along with its sister titles across the UK, challenged Boris Johnson to turn pharmacies into Covid vaccine centres
