Moona Karim, whose company specialises in the care of older people, has been impressed with the way her team is continuing to bring joy to clients - including little gestures like ensuring they all had flowers delivered to their doors.

She said: “Our job at Home Instead is to care for people in their own homes and we shall continue to do that.

"It has been wonderful to see our team of superheroes coming into their own, and their efforts certainly have not gone unnoticed.”

Letters and notes have been flooding in from clients’ relatives.

One family member wrote in and said: ‘I wanted to drop you a quick note, and say thank you and the team for your help, you must be working very hard to keep everyone safe especially at the minute, and its much appreciated.

"Mum and Dad have been very happy so far with the care being provided and they really like Susie, she is doing a great job with Dad."

Another client’s family members are enjoying writing letters back and forth to each other.

As they live in Devon, it is impossible for them to see each other at this time, and all of the letters are bringing a smile to the client’s face.

Moona added: “We want to continue to spread happiness now, more than ever. We recently made sure all our clients had a bit of sunshine in their lives and delivered flowers to their doors.

"Little gestures like this go a long way, and we have seen some amazing spirit here in the community over the past few weeks of social distancing and isolation.”
