Figures from Public Health England show a breakdown of coronavirus cases in Bedford for seven days up to December 30, 2020.

De Parys, Newnham and Putnoe wards have recorded far fewer cases than the rest of the town with 32, 34 and 35 respectively, the figures for Harpur, Queens Park and Cauldwell are creeping back up.

Earlier this month, the Prime Minister put England into a third lockdown with everyone ordered to stay at home except for a handful of permitted reasons.

Cases seem to be slowing down compared to earlier this month

The rules will be reviewed on February 15.

Bromham & Biddenham - 62 cases

Brickhill - 50 cases

Castle & Kingsway - 65 cases

Cauldwell - 85 cases

De Parys - 32 cases

Goldington - 41 cases

Kempston North - 40 cases

Kempston West & South - 91 cases

Kingsbrook - 75 cases

Newnham - 34 cases

Putnoe - 35 cases
