New NHS data reveals how many jabs have been given out in each part of the country
NHS England publishes weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered every Thursday.
As of February 14, in the NHS Bedfordshire CCG area, 99,173 vaccinations had been administered.
Here's a breakdown of the vaccinations for the county:
Three Bedford people die from Covid in just a week
Covid cases stay high in Bedford's Castle ward
Woman's shock as partner dies alone weeks after cancer misdiagnosis at Bedford Hospital
More emergency cancer patients in Bedfordshire than pre-pandemic
Five Bedford people die from Covid in a week
40,330 people aged under 70 have received their first dose
57,394 people aged over 70 have received their first dose
437 people aged under 70 have received their second dose
1,012 people aged over 70 have received their second dose
Across England, around 6.5million people aged 70 and over had received their first dose of the vaccine by the end of January, covering 86 per cent of the age group – although the dosage figure includes a small number with registered addresses in Scotland or Wales.
The Government says the vaccine rollout is on track to meet a target of offering a first dose of the vaccine to everyone in the top four priority groups by the middle of February.
Older care home residents, care home workers, people aged over 70, frontline health and social care workers and the clinically extremely vulnerable make up the four groups.
