GP group donates care package to Bedfordshire nursing home

Carers at Steppingley nursing home, Orchard Lawns, were just one of many in the county to benefit from a care package from the Afro GP Herts group.

Hide AdGP members of the group donated 30 loaves of bread, 120 eggs, 25 pastas per home, a big box of assorted fruits including grapes, apples, bananas, pears and oranges as well as two boxes of chips.
Dr Dayo Kuku, who visited Orchid Lawns Nursing Home with Dr. Kunle Orebiyi, said: "It was an honour to support the care workers at Orchid Lawn Nursing Home.
"Being an frontline worker myself, I understand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on frontline staff and care workers.
