As of last night (November 25), Bedford has 36 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 3,167 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There was one new death in Bedford (195), four deaths in Luton (214) and two deaths in Central Bedfordshire (253).

Central Bedfordshire has 29 new Covid cases with a total of 3,412, while Luton recorded 90 with a new total of 5,427.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 7,006 cases, Hertfordshire has 16,560 and Milton Keynes has 3,505 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 18,213 and now stands at 1,557,007.

The number of deaths has risen by 696 to 56,533.
