As of last night (February 11), Bedford recorded 63 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 12,441 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were two deaths in Central Bedfordshire (520), four deaths in Bedford (440) and three deaths in Luton (452).

Central Bedfordshire has 40 new Covid cases with a total of 14,454, while Luton recorded 68 with a new total of 17,820.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 28,764 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 71,696 and Milton Keynes has 18,286 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 13,494 and now stands at 3,998,655. The number of deaths has risen by 678 to 115,529.

As of February 10, in the UK, 13,509,108 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 524,447 had received their second dose.
