Covid-19 latest: here's how many new cases were recorded in Bedford in 24 hours

As of today (March 18), Bedford has recorded nine new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 13,241 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were no deaths recorded in Bedfordshire - Bedford has a total of 483, Central Bedfordshire has a total of (567) and Luton has recorded 490 in total.

Central Bedfordshire has 24 new Covid cases with a total of 15,474, while Luton recorded 30 with a new total of 19,504.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 30,741 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 75,263 and Milton Keynes has 19,580 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 6,303 and now stands at 4,280,882. The number of deaths has risen by 95 to 125,926.

As of March 17, in the UK, 25,735,472 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 1,879,054 had received their second dose.
