Covid-19 latest figures: No deaths in Bedford as 10 people test positive

As of today (March 15), Bedford has recorded 10 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 13,220 people now diagnosed with the deadly virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were no deaths in Bedford (483), none in Central Bedfordshire (567) or Luton (488).

Central Bedfordshire has 18 new Covid cases with a total of 15,419, while Luton recorded 34 with a new total of 19,391.

Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 30,654 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire has 75,113 and Milton Keynes has 19,522 cases.

The new figures are recorded between 5pm the previous day to 5pm and unfortunately don't include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.

In the UK, as of today, 24,453,221 people have received the first dose of the vaccination for Covid, and 1,610,280 have received their second dose. ​

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 5,089 and now stands at 4,263,527. The number of deaths has risen by 64 to 125,580.
