Captain Tom Moore from Bedford scores number one single with Michael Ball

War veteran Captain Tom Moore and Michael Ball have topped the single charts with all proceeds going to the NHS Charities Together fund.

The single, Rogers & Hammerstein’s iconic anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone, has made chart history as it's the first time a centenarian has ever got a number one single.

Captain Tom, of Marston Moretaine, has already raised more than £27million through his walk - and 100 per cent of the single's proceeds will also be donated to NHS Charities Together which supports the incredible NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.
