Bedfordshire residents warned over bogus TV licence emails

The trading standards team in Bedfordshire is warning residents to be wary of any emails that claim an automatic renewal payment has been unsuccessful and therefore your TV licence is due expire.

The email also instructs the recipient to click on a link to process a renewal payment.

On first impressions the email may seem genuine, but it is in fact a scam attempting to obtain your money and bank card details.
