Figures from Public Health England show a breakdown of new coronavirus cases in Bedford for the seven days up to August 19.

Four areas of the borough have experienced a significant rise in cases - Harpur, Bromham & Biddenham, Kempston North, and Wyboston, Great Barford & Cople.

In the space of a week, cases have gone from 28 to 46 in Harpur, from 28 to 38 in Bromham & Biddenham, from 14 to 26 in Kempston North, and from 29 to 41 in Wyboston, Great Barford & Cople.
